Visit
The village of Apollona is located on the northwestern side of Rhodes, 53 km from the capital, on the southwestern side of the hill of Prophitis Ilias.
The visitor can arrive by private vehicle via two routes from Rhodes city:
The first route is via the Rhodes - Lindos highway (EO95) which takes us to the eastern side of the island and then through the Pastida - Mesanagros provincial road and the Apollona provincial road. This route takes approximately 50 minutes.
Alternatively, from the western side of the island, with a route that takes about an hour, via the Ialyssos - Kattavia provincial road , turning left at Soroni onto the Eleousa provincial road and reaching Eleousa, right onto the Pastida - Mesanagros provincial road.
The exhibition space is open every day of the week during the tourist season.
Apollona Museum visiting hours:
Summer: Monday – Sunday 10:00 – 17:00
Winter: Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 17:00
During the winter months, the museum is open to organized groups, schools or even individual visitors by appointment only.
