Eftaporti
The site of "Eftaporti" is located approximately one kilometer to the northeast of Apollona. The section focuses on the excavation of an early Christian church at this site and its connections with the people who live in the area today. A miraculous event which was also the reason for the excavation is presented. Namely, a child had found fragments of marble architectural elements in the area. After carrying them home, in his sleep at night he dreamt of a monk who said he was a priest up there - at Eftaporti - and asked what the child wanted to do with the marbles. The child spoke to the village priest about the marbles and took them to the church. Later, an excavation was carried out in the area, where the base plate of the Holy Altar with the sockets hosting its colonnades was found. Village residents also worked on the excavation.
