Educational programs

One of the goals of the exhibition of relics and artefacts of the Parish of the Holy Cross of Apollona is to communicate with visitors and disseminate knowledge to all audience groups, especially to young visitors.

The museum educational program "In the Light of Apollona" has been designed with this purpose in mind. It includes experiential educational activities with an emphasis on play, aiming to familiarize participating students with the architecture and history of the exhibition space, its museum objects, as well as the associated legends and customs of the residents of the village of Apollona and the broader area. Its design and implementation are based on the configuration of the museum exhibition and the operation of the main and auxiliary spaces of the exhibition space.

The museum educational program exists in printed and electronic format and is based on the museological development of the scenario, so that participating students can understand museum objects and their stories in a pleasant and creative way.
